I’ve been using a permanent spoofer the first two times I got a 3 day temp ban within an hour and the after waiting the 3 days I would get permanently eac banned with 5 hours I was ignoring the vpn part of the spoof guide then I used a vpn lasted 23 hours of game time my vpn turned off for 2 minutes and I was banned within an hour since when does rust up ban?

No Rust(eac) does not ip ban in general.

I would say thats most likely a misinterpretation on your side. EAC never ip bans. Local server admins may ban you(locally - not eac) or if you play on official servers facepunch may manually issue an eac ban. That's all i can think of.

EAC itself does not do so, but when u play on private servers the admins store your old IP and can ban you when you're using it again on the same server.

Which is why you need a residential IP for rust cheating

I highly doubt it ive done extensive testing in the past month i have permantly spoofed spoofed 23 times just to check what it was geeting me eac banned sometimes the first few times i would get banned pretty randomly from an hour to a few days of gametime always a temp ban couldnt figure out what it was saw that vpn was turning off and on then i spoofed again but with a better vpn no ban for a week was surprised because apparently eac doesnt ip ban so i turn off the vpn 48 minutes later im banned after a week of no ban so i do this 10 more times every time same result vpn no ban turn off banned i now have an account going 2 weeks either its all a massive coincidence or rust has started banning ips and i did not play any facepunch. Ive looked into your spoofer and i see it has the 3 day temp ban issue but it only affects certain users the ip would explain that is they may only apply it after someone attempts to ban evade multiple times.

we've issued an update for the 3 day temps and so far feedback has been positive. but regarding your problem i can only say one thing; ip is not a factor and im not even going to discuss it (no offense) :)

none taken as this is my experience im sure your spoofer has a separate issue but i think its valuble to share this information as it may help someone who is also having issues you may be right it might not be ip but some mechinism of the vpn is stopping me from getting banned to say otherwise is foolish when i have undeniable evidence just to further confirm i turned off my vpn on my account that lasted 3 weeks got banned(3 day temp) in approximately 53 minutes.

What about Facepunch, do you think they utilize ASN?

I doubt it, it would be too wide tbh. But I'm sure facepunch admins could issue an eac ban if you kept cheating on their servers on the same ip. But then again it wouldn't be an automated eac ban.

People who use the same IP they were previously banned on, or one that someone else was banned on, are very likely to receive a temporary EAC ban on their first report.

This can be tested and reproduced, which I did myself to confirm. It has to do with the Cerberus/behavioral analysis system EAC uses. Most of it is guesswork since everything is server-side, but a few things have leaked through their panel, and other details can be confirmed through repeated testing with consistent results.
