Hey, I'm thinking about switching to the 2PC method I've heard it's safer for my main account but I'm not sure which device is the best choice and which provider to go with.

Most people will say Ferrum but it is pretty expensive. I personally would say wait for MAKXD to release in a month or so. It will do what the Ferrum does but more like macros, provider fw, pass-through mode, emulation mode, controller support, input translator for mnk to controller, 8k polling, and more.

I would avoid using your main account unless you are OK with and accept the fact that it is not a matter of if but when in terms of getting a ban long term. Maybe 2 or 3 years ago I would say use your main on a 2PC but now with the recent developments in AC for input analysis, I would err on the side of caution.

This is coming from myself a 2PC provider. I would rather not sugarcoat and lie given the state of the scene in 2026.

I know that betrayal doesn't last forever on one account, I was banned in CS after 4 years in apex after 3

I don't think any of the input devices are particularly hard to configure. Makcu will have the most providers. At the current moment you can't go wrong with any option of ferrum or makcu. Arduino can be more per provider for implementation or fw so if you want to try a few different solutions, maybe a makcu.

Is a second computer required for this?

Not required, but if you don’t use second PC then it’s basically same like normal setup.

2PC is for separation, that’s why people use it.

Not required but any provider that tells you it's safe to use these devices 1PC is just trying to lie to you to get you to buy their product.

So makcu without 2pc, it works the same as any 1pc cheat, right?

Correct but you will be banned.... The COM ports have been flagged for years. Don't let anyone tell you they aren't, they are simply trying to dupe you into buying their 1PC product.
