I'm looking for someone willing to help me create and configure a server for strictly offline and personal use of "Rappelz 9.5.2 KitKat Repack".
To be clear: my goal is NOT to open a public server for profit, but to create a local environment where I can play alone.
I would like to install the server on my MSI Pulse laptop:
CPU: i7 13700H
RAM: 32 GB
Storage: M.2 Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB
GPU: RTX 4060 8 GB
Operating system: Windows 11 Home
Then I would like to play using the client from my desktop PC:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2×16 GB 6000 MHz CL30
Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB
GPU: RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB
Alternatively, I was thinking about installing a more compatible operating system on an external M.2 using WinToGo, so I don't directly involve the laptop’s internal M.2.
I have an external adapter "Asus ROG Strix Arion" with a 256 GB M.2 inside.
However, if you think there could be problems using the external M.2, we can do everything on the internal laptop drive instead.
I already downloaded "9.5.2 KitKat Repack".
I understand that I need to install and configure "Microsoft SQL Server" and "SQL Server Management Studio", but I don't know which versions are required.
I want to connect from my desktop PC to the laptop through a wired local network connection.
I need help to correctly install and configure everything:
Microsoft SQL Server
SQL Server Management Studio
restoring the database .bak files
configuring server services
configuring LAN IP access
I'm looking for someone available to guide me step-by-step through the correct setup of the repack, especially on the database and server services side.
