First, here’s the list of rotations I’ve tried:
Lunar
PS
Rice
Phoenix
Tempest (trial)
EpicSync
1. Lunar
If you enjoy PvP, this is one of the best options.
Using WASD movement, I was able to reach 2600+ rating in TWW season.
For PvE, development feels a bit slower since it seems more PvP-focused, but the developers are clearly very skilled.
2. PS
This is the one I’ve used the longest, and I’m still using it now.
The main reason is convenience — you just buy it, run it, and you’re good to go.
There are many developers involved, so you can try a wide variety of classes compared to other platforms.
Recently, even the Murlocs developers joined. I tried their rotation for a day, and it was really good.
However, the biggest issue is downtime.
Even while using it, I constantly feel uneasy because you never know when the server might go down.
I’ve heard there’s a private version, but after seeing the verification process, I decided not to bother.
3. Rice
I found this to be very cost-effective.
Performance is solid — I was able to achieve high scores in raids using WASD gameplay.
Also, I didn’t really have to worry about downtime.
4. Phoenix
I used it for about 30 days.
Performance is great — I understand why so many people praise it.
However, development feels slow and somewhat limited, so I probably won’t use it again.
5. Tempest
I only tried the trial version, so I can’t give a full evaluation.
I tested it a few times in M+, and it seemed decent.
6. EpicSync
At the start of Midnight, I was looking for a healer rotation.
I saw a comment saying the developer had created healer rotations for almost every class, and since the price was cheap, I subscribed for 30 days.
However, after purchasing, I found out that healer rotations required an additional payment.
There was no mention of this anywhere on the website.
I think this kind of information should be clearly stated upfront.
As for DPS, I tested it on a dummy, and it seemed fine.
(Among all the rotation developers I’ve dealt with so far, this one felt the most friendly. They also respond very quickly.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I’d like to try more rotations, but I avoided ones that are ridiculously expensive or have poor accessibility. I just don’t want to go through that much hassle just to buy and use them.
PS
One thing I’d like to point out is that most products these days are fairly standardized and perform at a similar level.
If you’re aiming for really high scores, I’d recommend using a rotation developed by someone who focuses on a specific class as their main, rather than one developer trying to cover every class. The difference in quality can be significant.
Also, a higher price doesn’t always mean a better product. Of course, the only way to truly figure that out is by trying multiple platforms yourself.
