RTX 3060 TI review

i've been running an rtx 3060 ti for a minute now (got it used like 8 months ago) and honestly? still a beast in 2026.

i play at 1440p mostly. cs2 runs buttery smooth, easily 100+ fps on high. cyberpunk with rt and dlss? solid 60. starfield? no issues. it's not a 4k card but if you're like me and just want good frames at 1440p, it delivers.

only downside is the 8gb vram – some newer games at ultra textures push it. but back textures down one notch and it's fine. most games don't even notice tbh.

if you can grab one for ~$300 or less, do it. way better value than the newer budget cards rn. just get a decent model – asus tuf or evga ones are tanks. avoid zotac, heard they die faster.

solid card, will last you a couple more years easy.

Spot on. The 3060 Ti is definitely the 'sweet spot' for 1440p value in 2026. People get way too hung up on VRAM numbers, but as you said, one settings tweak is all it takes to keep it relevant.

I mean there is the 5060 for the same price you know, same VRAM but atleast it has new technology and stuff.
personally I wouldn't pick a 3060 ti vs a 5060...
prove me wrong you can check performances online though
