[MSSQL]Question

Hello guys,

I'm already protected with my server against [GM], [DEV], [DEKARON].

My question is what to add in anti gm hack to get something like a wildcard so they cannot use anything between these tags:

{DEKARON}
{DEV}
{GM}

And just maybe a wildcard tag that protects anything inbetween those tags :)

Thank you in advance,
Aslana

If you wonder why I need it:
This is to prevent scams and stuff :)

Code:
"SELECT * from character.database WHERE char_name LIKE '%DEKARON%' "
The wildcard in this case is the '%' sign. This code above will select all character names with 'DEKARON' in thier name no matter what precedes it; such as '{' or '['. The second '%' catches anything past it such as '}' or ']'. After that simply compare the selected string to the illegal characters and viola! You have a complete GM, DEV, DEKARON, and MOD protection with any tags around it. Im not going to spoon feed you the answer, but those are the basics to accomplish what you want. Good luck

Notice,,, if you delete someone from user_character he will not lose everything,, some parts in database are working with character_name
make a script that set login_tag to N when someone make char like that

-8gX I know I have that already but I wan't to prevent people to make anything like:

{VIP}
{Epvp}
{Dogg}

Like any word between caps... Is that possible or not? Thanks for the support so far :)

do the same thing as with anti GM, block the characters "{" "}" or whatever else characters you want.
