laggy

When I use cheats, the game doesn’t run smoothly.

When I play the game without cheats, I get 180 FPS, but when I use cheats, it drops to 110 FPS and doesn’t run smoothly. Are there many others experiencing the same issue? What could be the solution?

Try to lessen active features from the cheat you using to lessen usage. idk since you never said what product. we cant help.

You should open a ticket on where you buy it

Could be poorly optimized cheat, but if other people don't have performance issues and just you then it could be as well to do with your graphic settings.

Could also be overlay limited to specific frame rate. You would need to talk directly to developer to resolve issue honestly.

Maybe try limiting your in game FPS to like 120 or 100 and see if it improves anything. Try changing in game graphics to mid or low and see.

Do you notice increased CPU usage with cheat compared to without cheat?

Again without people having tried specific product you are talking about and without developer directly looking into your issue you might not find actual help here besides people saying cheat is shit or blaming cheat directly.

Agreeing with Krad3z3 on this. Rust is already a very much CPU intensive game, so lower tier PC's may struggle to get higher frames while using cheats. Lowering graphics settings and limiting your frame rates may help a good bit. I have a very high end PC and still do not play at max settings or even fully at high settings at that, just so I can average over 180 fps. Also, make sure your graphics drivers are updated as well. Maybe try limiting the apps that auto start when you turn your PC on, (Discord) (Steam)(Any of the Microsoft BS bloatware)
