UPDATE 1: They've changed their Discord identity completely and banned anyone who questioned them about the scam, including me of course! More info in the comments below.

UPDATE 2: Looks like he deleted his Discord.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking about buying from the Discord server Phantom Services (server ID: 1424575881313259683) or the user rustservices (Discord ID: 1338911741559443466) who runs it. Please don’t. I really wish someone had warned me before I sent them $230 in BTC for an account. It’s been over 24 hours now, and they’re still telling me their “exchanger” can’t find or confirm my payment, even though the transaction has well over 100 confirmations on two different sites.

They’ve got loads of vouches and reviews in their server, which is what made me trust them, but clearly that didn’t mean anything. I’m only posting this so nobody else ends up in the same situation or loses money the way I just did.

Also, about seven hours after the crypto left my wallet, the funds were moved to another address. You can literally see it on the mempool and Blockchain transaction pages. Everything is there if anyone wants to check it.

I don’t want to fill the post with tons of screenshots since the convo is pretty long, so I just recorded everything on my iPhone instead. You can watch it here.

TL;DR rustservices with discord ID: 1338911741559443466 is scamming if you try to buy their Rust accounts. He owns a Discord server called Phantom Services, the server's ID Is: 1424575881313259683

Also, right after I exposed them, they banned me from the Discord.

True indeed. They've not changed their Discord identity and banned everyone who called them out.

The group is now called " Project P "

Bunch of folks got kicked/banned for questioning.

Remember, if they have a discord account from past couple years, count on being scammed. If you don't, cool. But be ready to vac ts and dispute charge if they start doing something fishy lol.

Better yet, don't buy from some random discord groups. More are a scam than not.

So the defence from the scammer is I sent wrong crypto into the wrong wallet.
I'm assuming he means I sent ETH to a BTC wallet.

So here's my response to that. The BTC I supposedly sent to the ETH wallet was immediately cancelled because he said it himself. Shortly after, I sent BTC to the BTC wallet he provided.

I've attached a picture of the cancelled transaction which he's trying to base his weak defence on. And I've also attached picture of the successful transaction where the BTC was sent to the correct BTC address.

The cancelled transaction:

The completed transaction (traceable with the links provided above)

It's very obvious but I'll clarify again. The BTC I "supposedly" sent to the ETH wallet never left my Coinbase wallet.

If for whatever reason you STILL have doubts this guy is scamming, watch the entire video linked above.
