Cheater lobbies

I highly doubt arc raiders does a shadow ban lobby thing similar to COD how to only place you against other suspected cheaters, but I have noticed and insane increase in the amount of other cheaters I face.

TBF I have been raging my ass off with a dma cheat and I'm almost lvl 75 going strong for a few weeks, but the last few days I have noticed quite an uptick to how many other cheaters are in my games, basically every game now I run into someone else.

Could just be a skill based / gear based matchmaking in effect. How often are you guys running into other cheaters?

I think they mentioned they looking into adding gear/ sbmm but want in game yet. Maybe it got adding in sneaky?

Also a lot of Cheaters in game for sure I'm noticing more esp and rarely few aimbot raging ( myble lil 5 so far). More and more 1pc cheats are available now. When was the last banwave ?

I think it may be because a lot of the 30 day bans have been expiring recently from the initial detection waves.

ive encountered more cheaters in the last few days combined since i started playing a few weeks ago. im not cheating myself so i dont think its the lobbies. its just disgusting freaks like u.

I feel like there’s a period with fresh accounts where you’ll meet a lot of other newbies, but beyond that, I don’t really have an opinion or guess.

If you’re this bothered about cheating in video games, it’s strange for you to even come here to a cheating forum just to ruin your own day. All that rage won’t change anything. Maybe there’s just way more cheaters right now, that’s why you’re seeing them nonstop

I think there is no such thing as cheater lobbies.

However there has been tests that somekind of behaviour matchmaking is in place.

If you play as fiendly raider, its more than likely that you will be put in friendly lobby, and if you play KOS raider you are more likely to put in kill lobby.

And as we all know cheaters are usually KOS people so you are more likely to meet other cheaters when your behaviour is the same and you get put into the pvp lobby.

- This is quite good example.

TLDR; Kill a lot of people -> you get pvp lobby where cheater live.
Be friendly -> you get pve lobby which has less cheaters

I'm mostly friendly and I almost never get shot at in solo raids. I also don't believe I've meet other cheaters yet. I haven't died to any because I've never gotten the compensation mail. So you're likely right.

There's no cheater lobbies but only a large influx of cheaters in this game lol

Correct. There are no cheater lobbies, atleast not in the sense that cheaters get flagged and matched with other cheaters. Atleast not with intention.

However it's still likely that cheaters will get into lobbies with other cheaters, simply by the design of the matchmaking system.

Embark's entire tech stack and especially the backend is actually very impressive. As a data guy. I'm just in awe.

I'll just briefly go over it, since that will explain the whole "feels like cheater lobby"


First off. Embark captures every single event that occurs in every single raid. Every bullet, movement, interaction. They collect it all. They can quite literally reconstruct the entirety of a match.
They handle about 5 billion events which equates roughly to 5 TB. Per hour without any issues.

Anyways. They process this data and having a scoring system for players with a dozen different parameters. Kills/Deaths. Looting Activity. Aggressive Y/N?. More ARC fights or PVP? You get the idea. Lot of weights.

These parameters are all queried at least to my last knowledge through Spanner DB. So no. We never will know of changes made to matchmaking through patch notes and all changes made are always sneaky by Embark. We wouldn't know.

And these parameters are then evaluators used in their fork of the Open Match System.


So. Yeah. Cheaters are likely sharing similiar behaviours.
Therefore they are likely to get matched with each other.

I'm not sure when the thresholds of a individual player scoring resets or what the decay rate is.
Since there were rumors going around with 10-15 rounds.
But that definitely is a thing.

Great Information This is most likely why you get queued up with cheaters I played 10+ games of stella montis and just surrendering and shooting at nothing after a while I could play a night raid on stella and not get shot at once in the middle of the open and everyone would help eachother out.
