PROTECT ACCOUNTS FROM MULTIPLE IP BANS

Hey guys, I'd like to know if anyone could help me figure out how to protect an account.

For example, if I use bots or similar with one character, I want to prevent the other characters I use with that internet connection from being banned.

Has anyone tried using a VPN for bots? Would a VPN with a dedicated IP address work? Thanks in advance, guys! ^^
