Discord Ban

I was recently banned for association with a cheat/rmt related discord. Still fighting them but my luck with appeals isn't good. Based off my lacking knowledge around bans and cheating, is it safe to assume this is a launcher ban and I'll need a spoofer to ever hope to play again?

I forgot to include, I have tried logging into the launcher with an account that doesn't have the game and it works, not sure if that is sufficient testing or what else I should try.

Yeah, it's something they announced was going to happen in their discord and they wormed their way into the EULA. This is what the specifically said after bugging them every channel i could find:

Hello

You are banned for cheat association as you either joined, were affiliated, or were associated or in any way adjacent to or engaging with Cheat or RMT discords. There is no further information that will be provided other than that the ban is permanent and unappealable.

I am still fighting it because its BS imo but I am looking for alternatives to play while I fight. I also think it was because I am in the SPT discord. All the others I am part of are community or private friend ones. I'll info dump as I learn more from them

Were you banned from just Discord or also from the game?

Was that game account linked to your discord account?

I was banned from the BSG discord and the game. The accounts were linked but the requested access was the basic name/avatar with nothing mentioned about viewing server memberships. I already removed the link from Discord's side or I would grab the actual verbage it used. It may have been petty but I did report BSG to Discord for misleading app or whatever

Test with a throwaway account, and if u get banned without using any cheats then you're HWID banned. And in that case I would love to be a help out to you chief, feel free to check us out.
If you did not get banned, then ur not HWID banned. As they don't always hit with a HWID ban straight away.


PS: we have a disk/GPu/ARP spoofer that will let u get unbanned without even reinstalling windows ;)
Just a few clicks and you're back in game

Quick update and hopefully the close of this, I have been testing on a new account for about 3 hours at this point. Multiple restarts/relogs and no ban so it looks like I didn't catch a hardware ban. Thanks all!

Got banned a few years ago for the same reason and didnt know that, I tried to appeal a few days but they eventually denied it and gave me the same message as Notnauthel.
Ofc my ingame account is still safe as it is not linked in any way with the discord ban
