[Discussion] - Anti Cheat used by Arc Raiders

Hi all, I also got banned from using a product on Arc Raiders. After doing some research I found that Embark have a kernel level anti cheat, but alongside that client side anti cheat, they also have a server side anti-cheat that is using AI to review player behavior. So looking at people through walls, and having the aimbot auto aim to head, jittery aim movement, and overall player movement are analyzed by an AI to detect cheaters.

Does anyone else have any information on anti cheat being used by Embark for Arc Raiders?

seems like a ban wave just happened yesterday seeing as everyone received a one month ban. best to just wait for an update.

Yeah, seems like the AI-based behavior is flagging people who have a heavy aimbot setting. I just got a suspention, but it's till 2027...

did anyone survive?

i do not think their anticheat is that crazy mrs maybe they are going hard manual banning based off reports.

Its gotta be anti cheat because I just got a 30 day. I never turned on aimbot, never used anything other than the ESP and I never actually even got into combat outside of a few encounters at extraction that ended with me dying in every one of them lol.

So they are definitely going off of more than reports as I got absolutely destroyed in every fight I did since I wasn't using the aimbot at all.

I was raging hard, esp everything and got 1 month so its just random, I always go for pvp

damn woke up to a ban and only got to play one game yesterday before i had work

They use this anti-cheat for stat detection and aimbot detection:

Even legit cheaters can get tapped if their aimbot is too "robotic", so use deadzones and non-linear aimbots, e.g use curving, jitters, etc - If your cheat doesn't have that in 2025 then just use walls or 2 fov aimbot

its not even just for review lol it seems more like a forgiving second chance while the game is still in its early stages before they start perma banning or hwid banning...either that or maybe they're being more lenient with the bans in this game. dunno.

hard to say but i contacted support and they stated that the ban is only temporary and will be lifted in 30 days aka how long my account is suspended for.

No, you have a 30-day ban because the AI banned you for a review. This has nothing to do with a second chance. And if it was a false ban, you will be free again in 30 days. I assume that the AI evaluates your gameplay. AnyBrain is not bad at recognizing gameplay.

Compared to normal players, cheaters behave conspicuously. It may not be noticeable to anyone else, but the AI will see it. And depending on how strict the AI settings are, you will be banned.

AI anti-cheats are the future and will become a problem.
