Garment Help, Animation Rigging

Howdy folks,

I'm having a hard time figuring out rigging animations (Blender 2.83) for player models. I made a Garment for my guild using a warrior armor C3 that I imported and have tried to import numerous C3 mesh files as animations, all resulting in errors.

I was hoping to get some guidance from here. It's a little difficult to explain it all as this site won't let me upload images due to being a new account.
