Safest Botting session/duration

Hi everyone,
I want to gather the experiences of OG botters to make a graph of "The best botting duration" therefore I ask everyone to kindly share their duration of bottings down here so I can get to this optimum point

I know that some people mentioned 10hr/day or 12hr/day (which they use 1 session 2 accounts so devided the day into 2 splits), I need actual experiences on how long the survived bots

I am also aware that there are SEVERAL factors that cannot be mentioned here like Warden detection, updates and much more unexpected things, tried to make it as simple as possible.

Q: why do you need this optimum point?
A: to maximize the longest durations for bottings

Q: Do you think the duration is the same for any botting methods?
A: Absolutely not, a leveling bot and a dungeon farming bot are not equal regarding the risk of getting ban so the durations can be different, Therefore I ask everyone also to note their type of botting e.g. leveling bot, farming bot, PVP

Q: Do you think this maximized duration is the same for Era, HC, MOP and TWW?
A: nope, as of experience I can tell that retail has more focused observations (as of writing this thread) and thus the durations can be lower, therefore I also ask the participants to also note their game version

Yes, I also thought the catching mechanism and breakpoints were different in each version of the game.
I think its alot about the value created by the real money comparison while botting aswell as the market inflation and its impact on legitimate players in ranks at PvP or Rio at PVE. There are also different content botting types so the heuristics that Warden uses to detect patterns or specific behavior may be more difficult to track or analyze.

In your summary is "stopped" a reference to being banned or did you quit?

The last time I botted in Retail ive used PS but since a handful of others were caught as well I was probably detected so this may not be relevant to this list.
I botted in 7 Days more or less 24/7, Follower Dungeon Farm. Yes of course 24/7 is not safe at all but I dont care. I saved gold to Warband and generated more gold than a new account.

Before that I used a slightly modified version of a Python Yolo AI Fishbot from GitHub on a burner account in Retail for about two weeks every night 8 hours. I didnt fish in towns. I still havent been banned on that account.

I think many pieces of software, drivers, and inputs are flagged right away but you will only face consequences if they impact the environment or gain enough attention. There are certainly some mechanisms that will ban you almost instantly (with a short delay) especially for bad injections or once detected software. However Ive seen many sources on GitHub and forums using scripts with pixel recognition or simple color bots using standard libraries or input methods that are clearly detected. Since they are not big public ones they can run them (at least for a while).

Since there are not that much IP or HWID bans in World of Warcraft, i dont care much about testing or having fun. I think that in 2025 giving us Warband and special discounts after waves will probably be part of our way of playing. The days of botting for 1-2 years without a ban are over.

About the question, Stopped means Banned, as a botter banning is just temporary stop in the procedure I can tell,
About the 24/7 gold farming and 8hr/day fishing, that was exactly the data I am gathering and is needed from this thread. thank you for sharing those.
about the rest of the reply, I absolutely agree with them but Im pretty sure its much more complicated than that and all we have is what we can see and experience.

This is far too complicated to give simple answers.

However, as someone who has been in the botting scene for over a decade, I can say there is no magic formula. I know some of the most advanced bot farmers who run 100+ sessions, with many years of experience and extensive testing of various strategies. There is no loophole or way to extend your account beyond 2 weeks at best, and even that's being kind.

When it comes to botting, you need to be really good at mathematics to make it worth your time, have access to exploits, get access to cheap tools, and cheap accounts if you want to make money. Many of these guys likely use accounts obtained through illegal means as well.

I'll say this, and this is my professional opinion. Farm Botting is dead. There is no value in it anymore; it's not like the old days when you could get 2-3 months or even a little more out of them. Those days are gone and won't be coming back. Why any providers even waste their time with it anymore is beyond me. I guess users still think they have that Midas touch and can dodge Blizzard, but later come and cry they got banned. It really doesn't make sense to me.

Considering how easy it is to buy gold directly or through a token, farming doesn't make sense; the risks are too high for novice farmers. If you have to ask on the epvp forum how to do it, it's probably best not to waste your time. You won’t find a magic solution here.

I do agree with you when you say its completely much more complicated than to be this much simplified, but thats the point of this thread, I want to simplify things as much as I can therefore maybe an answer can come from all I need is data and real experiences.
on the other hand I can tell you I disagree with you when you say "Farm botting is dead" ofc its not like before but right now there are ppl that doing it for 2 months (according to what they say) and they survived everything,
kind of agree that one can lie/mistake about such quote but when there are many possible cases, then there is a way and im here to find that out!
e.g. as a both NN user and Tinkr user I can confidently tell you that NN is more exposed compare to Tinkr and I lose a dozens of toons before they hit 4th day, yet with same resources and method on Tinkr they saw the 9th day (they also got banned)
yet there are ppl both as NN users in Ps comunity that saying they have survived for 2 complete seasons also Tinkr users that said the same statements, so thats why I need real experiences and exact details to find a blind spot.

Bans times always vary, but there is one thing I won't do: take someone's word for anything in this scene that I don't personally know or is well-known.

Personally, I have not tested the difference in ban times between Windows and Tinkr, but honestly, I don't think it matters which one you're using, because most bans are based on heuristics and player reports. There have been many times when NN, for example, was undetected; however, ban times for farming always averaged out to be the same. The only difference between three years ago and now is that the heuristics have improved; they also use a lot of artificial intelligence/machine learning. to help with their detections, and it's really shown to be working well.

As I mentioned, money can be made, but you need to be highly experienced and have access to resources that allow you to get things at a low cost.

Farm botting is not dead at all. If it was, prices of gold wouldn't be so garbage. The banrates are cetainly higher than last year even, but that doesn't mean it's dead. I haven't done retail, but MOP and Anniv are SWARMING with bots, it's actually sad to look at :D
Blizzard are definitely detecting shit way more than before. Till the end of May I was getting clapped weekly on a private thing, but I was given a tool by a fellow bot dev and so far I've had 5-6 bans since early June.
