What's the safest way to buy gold on retail wow?

What's currently the safest way to buy a lot of gold?

I'm going to use alt account on battle.net and drop it in my warband.

I got a two week at the start of TWW for buying gold. They didn't touch warband. I could still use it on alt account.

Probably the best way to get gold isn't by receiving gold itself. You can ask the gold seller to send you crafting materials that are worth a lot of money and then resell those for gold. I wouldn't recommend taking raw gold, just my opinion. Blizzard is currently very active in monitoring rmt.

To be honest, ive been buying from G2G via mail or facetrade for years. I always buy around 1 million and have never had any problems. Sometimes I store some amount in the warband bank. Ive had many accounts banned, but never for RMT.

Back in the day, I used the guild bank to receive gold on an alt character that got deleted after I transferred the gold from the guild bank to my personal bank. But I doubt its more secure.

But never buy boosts for gold since the ratio is better for real money in most cases.

This is only my personal experience in retail.

I was doing F2F and Mail as well but got slapped with a two week, I have been doing it Guild Bank, seems to be safe. Thanks

I do it differently, sometimes f2f, sometimes by email, and nothing has ever happened so far. Classic hardcore.
