+rep Thank you for creating this guide and throwing all the information into one thread. Definitely will help some people who are confused on how to evade server bans (There's alot of them) :D

I would not recommend people using their mobile hotspot to ban evade, due to ur mobile internet sharing adapter has a MAC that does not change.

EAC and/or Rust does not pull ARP. That's the word you were looking for.

As SauceMachine said, it's not an issue for rust. As it is likely never going to be, as most 4g/5g routers is borrowed/rented from the ISP, because of this I believe it would be very unlikely that they would start banning those as it could seriously impact legit players too.

Lort, thank you for another helpful guide as always. Regarding step 4, I was hoping you might be able to provide further details on the risk factors to consider when purchasing an aged account versus creating a new Steam account. I've looked into aged accounts with real hours within the same region where I live. Thank you for your insight.

I did not say ARP, I said that your phone creates a virtual ethernet adapter that has the same MAC.

Using mobile hotspot after spoofing is dumb cause you will have a exposed serial number reported to EAC.

EasyAntiCheat only cares about how many hours your hardware serials has on an account, buying aged accounts or hour boosted accounts will not help against anything other then preventing people from reporting you cause ur account looks "good"

I would even argue that buying accounts with already played hours are worse then 0 hour accounts due to you have no clue if the person who owned the account previously is ban evading, scripting or cheating

As mentioned above, some of the reasons to why i wouldn't suggest "read hours" account or "boosted hour account" is simply, because you don't know what kind of hardware, ip, cheats etc have connections to the account, you also have no guarantee that the person you bought it from, will not get the HWID connected to the account banned at a later point, same with ip etc.

Can I use my gamebanned steam account to play other games on that account so long I do not touch Rust? Or would even just logging into it flag my account? Additionally can I play Rust on my new account without a VPN on creative servers that do not log IP but when playing on official servers use an IP and be fine?
