so say if i got all the stuff to start dmaing how long would i last if i just legit cheat using esp but not blatantly and some other legit cheat stuff

That’s why you get firmware, it hides the DMA as x device. Rather then a “DMA”

for eac its much easier as long as you got a nice emulated one you should be good for a long time

I'm not in the dma scene that much, my friend was using chud's external for rust he lasted more then 6 months (still not banned) so I'm not sure if its worthed to pay hundreads of dollars for a firmware + a cheat

one of my friends got gamebanned for using chud he was raging tho but ill be playing high comp servers so i think dma is the only way to live on it and pass checks

Well it depends on the device too. There are people who never got banned. But getting those kind of devices is really hard. Also, don't ask me how. It is way too expensive. I am NOT talking about HPTT.
