💻 DMA + FiveM Questions – Need Help from Experienced Users 🙏

Hey everyone,

I’ve been doing a lot of reading and research about DMA for FiveM, but I figured it’s time to ask directly and get some input from experienced users.

To clarify:
  • I only play FiveM
  • I'm not trying to be a "top-shooter" or "arena rat" — just good enough to hold my ground if attacked by rival gangs and not be completely useless on jobs
  • I want to be functional and discreet, not flashy or untouchable or anything like that

FiveM is my only focus, and I’ve got a few important questions:

⚙️ 1. Compatibility – Z690-E + 75T DMA Card

I read that some ASUS motherboards don’t support DMA cards.

Here’s my setup:
  • Motherboard: ASUS Z690-E
  • CPU: Intel i7 14700K
  • RAM: 32gb Gskill TridentZ 6400mhz
  • GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3090

➤ Is this compatible with a 75T card?
➤ If I add another 32GB of RAM (of the same exact type), would I need to update anything with the software/firmware or do anything other than just install the additional RAM?

🧠 2. Firmware & Detection

Assuming firmware is what prevents detection:

[A] What anticheat does FiveM/FiveM servers use that I need to be sure the firmware supports?

[B] Does it need to be custom 1:1 firmware or emulated 1:1 firmware, and what is the difference?

[C] Assuming I was asked to do a manual PC check... Is whether or not the tool/DMA/software is detectable by a manual PC check dependent entirely on the firmware or are there other factors that could lead to detection by manual PC checks?

[D] If its only firmware, what type of firmware would I need to ensure I'd pass a PC check? if not than what steps would I need to take to ensure I'd pass a PC check?

[E] What are some reputable vendors for firmware? (I've been looking at Ducks and they offer custom 1:1 and emulated — but it only says FiveM under the cheapest custom option.) Is this because FiveM's detection methods aren't that hard to get around with DMA? What about a PC check though?

[F] Is there a better, more reputable firmware vendor I should consider that isn't outrageously priced? (Ducks seems very reasonable.) Also bearing in mind I'm only looking to use this on FiveM.

[G] Does the firmware need to be updated every so often if I'm only using it for FiveM, or is the initial firmware I purchase good enough as long as I'm not looking to use it on other games?

🖱️ 3. Mouse Emulators – Best/Least Detectable Option?

Options I’ve seen:
  • KMBOX Net
  • KMBOX B+
  • Makcu
  • Teensy

➤ Which one is most trusted and least detectable?
➤ If I just unplug it during a PC check, does that hide it? Would that even be necessary?

💻 4. Software/Tool for FiveM – Blurred.GG vs Ambient vs Elusive?

I've seen Blurred.GG and Ambient and Elusive used for FiveM.

➤ Is one better than the other?
➤ Are there any others I should seriously consider?

🎯 5. Do I Need a Fuser If I Only Want Aimbot?

I don’t care about ESP (for now)— just aiming.

➤ Do I still need a Fuser for that?
➤ Is Fuser just for ESP purposes?
➤ Can I get the Fuser later on if I want ESP, or is it something I need to set up when I'm setting everything else up?

💡 6. Is 100T Worth It Over 75T considering my use case?

I see the 100T mentioned as an upgrade over the 75T.

➤ Is it really worth it if I’m only using this for FiveM?
➤ Is it noticeably better than the 75T for this use case?

📌 7. General Tips & Things to Know for New DMA Users

Since I'm still new to this space, I’d really appreciate:
  • Any tips or best practices for someone just getting into DMA tools
  • Things to avoid or common beginner mistakes
  • Setup suggestions that could save time, money, or headaches down the road
  • Anything you wish you had known earlier when getting started

➤ Feel free to share anything you think might help a beginner like me avoid issues or wasted time/money.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply 🙏
I’m just trying to learn, avoid mistakes, and get a setup that does the job without overkill.

Cheers,
A (Trying-to-Not-Be-Useless) FiveM Player

Appreciate how thorough you were. Since you’re just focused on FiveM and want something that works without being overkill, here’s a breakdown made for your exact use case.

Hardware Compatibility
  • ASUS Z690-E + 75T → Works fine (no issues).
  • Adding RAM? → Just plug it in. No firmware/software updates needed.

🧠 Firmware & Detection

FiveM Anti-Cheat → Mostly Lua checks, light kernel stuff. Easy compared to EAC/Vanguard.

Firmware Needed → Emulated 1:1 (spoofs PCIe device like NIC/GPU).

Detection Risks → Only if you’re sloppy:
  • Cheat open during check
  • KMBox still plugged in
  • Files named obviously (e.g., aimbot.exe)

Stay Safe:
  • Use emulated firmware
  • Unplug KMBox during checks
  • Close tools
  • Rename files/folders
Vendors:
  • Ducks → fine for FiveM
  • DMA Cheese → also solid

Avoid public/leaked firmware

Updates?

Not needed for FiveM. Update only if moving to tougher anti-cheats.

🖱️ Best Mouse Emulator
  • Top Pick → Makcu (best performance, smooth, stable)
  • Other Options → KMBox NET (easy to update, supported), KMBox B+ (budget), Teensy (DIY only)
👉 Always unplug your mouse emulator during checks.

💻 Best DMA Tool for FiveM
  • Blurred.GG → Easiest, great support
  • Elusive → Clean visuals, customizable
  • Ambient → More advanced, harder to use
  • Go with Blurred or Elusive for simple & safe setup.

🎯 Do You Need a Fuser?

No → Only needed for ESP overlays (wallhacks).

You can add one later, but it’s not required.

💡 75T vs 100T
  • 75T = enough for FiveM
  • 100T only needed for:
  • Ultra-high refresh overlays (240Hz+)
  • High-stakes PvP
  • Save your money → stick with 75T.

📌 New User Tips

DO:
  • Use a clean 2nd PC (8GB+ RAM, USB 3.0)
  • Rename files & folders
  • Unplug mouse emulator when not using
  • Keep tools off your desktop

DON’T:
  • Leave cheats open in-game
  • Talk about DMA in-game/Discord
  • Use leaked/public firmware
  • Run stuff from Downloads/Desktop
  • 💡 Bonus: Use a USB KVM switch to swap keyboard/mouse between PCs easily.

Final Setup (For FiveM)
  • 75T DMA card
  • Emulated 1:1 firmware
  • Makcu mouse emulator
  • Blurred.GG or Elusive
  • No Fuser needed

Good habits = low risk ✅

GTA Ambient recently got new ownership (like a week or 2 ago), and a new developer. so massive improvements are already coming out for Ambient. I know this because I'm a reseller for ambient

Where can I get the software to flash the card, or are they already flashed?
