I've been hitting my head against this for quite some time.
It's possible to run WoW in VM without a GPU, but the FPS is horrible. The only solution (without buying a second GPU) is a single GPU passthrough. And the only thing I've found for this is only working for Hyper-V VMs. Nothing for VMware. Does anyone have a better solution?
Also, is there a way to spoof CPUID in a VM? You can change the CPU name easily, but the CPUID translates to the VM from your host PC, so, in theory, you can still catch the HWID ban for your CPU.
This whole setting up a VM thing is such a headache, god damn it. And there's so little info on the internet about this, like I'm the only person ever who wanted to play games in a VM on windows.
I feel like there should be some simpler solution for all this, but it just keeps eluding me, please help!
