Actually, it's the character which gets shielded that can't be stigged, AKA the main so you can quit being obnoxious and telling everyone else who has half a brain they're wrong.

Since my english not is tip top ill just tell you this.
IF someone shield your main char that is getting stig, he wont be able to get stig UNTIL shield goes off, but how many shielders stay at the same place shielding same guy?
but IF you shield a watertao that is STIGGING SOMEONE, HE WILL COMPLETLEY stop shielding, until you dont re-cast stigg on your main again. (this would be most effective way right? so thats why you STACK YOUR STIGGER WITH YOUR MAIN CHAR!

Shielding a tao doesn't affect his ability to cast spells. See for yourself:
1. get on your water tao
2. cast shield on yourself
3. try to cast stig on someone else
You want to prevent your MAIN from getting shielded, so you stack your main with your stigger.
