Question about DMA ban

I heard that BSG detected DMA on 06/16/2024 and it caused a ban wave. Is that true, or just a rumor? or DMA has never actually been detected—it’s always been manual bans from player reports ?

its the Firmware+dma cheat that is detected, starts with firmware as the cheat runs on 2nd pc, also Manual bans as well

Cheats can cause banwaves if said cheat uses memory write (something like glow or Aimbot without hardware)

Most cheats tell you tho and if you keep it disabled you good.

Next up are firmwares that get blocked and sometimes cause bans (only seen on Fortnite and Valorant till now i believe)

we sell 1 of 1 firmware so bans wont be a problem with us and our cheat isnt detected so

DMA hasn’t been directly detected most bans are manual or from bad spoofers

Not true. DMA is still undetected. This ban wave happened because they detected some bad firmware, not because of DMA itself. If you have proper undetected firmware, it's hard for them to detect it.

DMA's are still going on now so it could be just bad firmware detection back then
