DMA recommendations

Hey, I’m debating getting into DMA for primarily EAC/BE titles, likely beginning with apex. I was curious what you all recommend for a setup. I’d appreciate some recommendations on a dma card, fuser, good hardware for aim, what I should look for in a secondary PC, etc.

Is it still worth pursuing DMA for EAC/BE titles? I know some anti cheats such as vanguard and faceit have taken steps to make DMA cheating more difficult, how far behind is EAC/BE?

Hypothetically, if I had solid firmware and a cheat that didn’t write to memory, what detection vectors exist? And if my firmware runs into problems, should I expect an account ban or just blocked firmware?

As of right now, DMA is a great option for EAC/BE/ACE. VGK and Faceit providers exist, albeit at a high premium. While my experience may not be the norm, I have observed more VGK detections than any other anticheat.

Just be aware that DMA cheats are not going to be as feature packed or ragey as 1PC.

For now DMA is safest if you can afford it. Just keep in mind you will sooner or later get caught and banned because anti cheats continue to evolve. I would not risk losing your main account.

Got KmBoxnet, fuser, 75t DMA card, off AliExpress for $180. You can often save money doing it this way but technical support is nonexistent and you risk getting ripped off. It all worked out for me but that’s no guarantee it will go smoothly for you. If you can afford it find a seller who will help you set everything up.

Get a 1:1 private emulated firmware for your DMA card.

I recommend you use a Makcu instead of a Kmbox as it’s 100% pass thru and so far undetectable. Also keep in mind to use a kmbox net both computers need to be on the same wifi connections. I bought one not realizing this as my 2nd computer didn’t have a wifi card.

Lastly, is the cheats. Not all cheats work with all systems. I leaned this the hard way. Spent money on 3 different cheats that either didn’t work with Makcu or my version of windows 11.

Thanks for the info! What are some general specs to look for in a second pc?

They say minimum requirements are CPU: I5 6500 + RAM: 8G + Solid State Drive. I bought a refurbished mini computer from microcenter. It works but it doesn’t have a wifi card or HDMI connections. I should have read the small print. So make sure whatever you buy it can connect to a fuser and has wifi if you want to use a kmbox net.

DMA Card : Get a 35t. 75t are nice but not necassary
Second pc. Get a Mini PC. Search around for one
Aim device: Makcu 100% Way better than Kmbox
Firmware: We offer 1:1 Emulated EAC/BE Firmware. (or just search around for a different provider)
Fuser: Dichen fuser works great.

I ended up picking up a cheap pc off some guy in my city for a really good price. 3060ti and i5 9th gen cpu. Still waiting on some dma hardware to arrive but I think this will work fine initially.

What cheats are compatible with macku for Apex Legends DMA?? I'm not sure what works with macku or not, and there just isn't much info I can find on this. I was thinking about apex playground or maybe direct. Would these work with my macku? Thanks in advance Im new and just got my 75t in today!

DMA is still one of the most reliable routes for getting around EAC, BE, and ACE. While anti-cheats like Vanguard and Faceit are pushing harder on detection, EAC and BE haven’t fully caught up — making them more manageable targets. That said, firmware that supports VGK or Faceit does exist, but expect to pay a premium, and even then, they tend to see more frequent detections in my experience.

If you're aiming for aggressive or feature-heavy cheats, just know DMA won't deliver the same type of experience as a 1PC setup. It's more focused on stealth and reliability than raw power or visuals.

EAC is beginning to heavily target DMA. There’s been many firmware blocks and some firmware detections. I would say EAC has caught up greatly regarding DMA detection. At this point, DMA is still good to use, however externals appear to be the safer route in regards to detection, as EAC is more focused on detecting DMA.
