The state of bots in current Conquer Online?

Is the game still riddled with proxy bots?

I logged in for the first time in years, I just wanted to have a look around.

All my chars had no silver, and I couldn't even find any mobs that dropped any.

I went around to a few places like grotto and desert city and there were dozens of what appeared to be botters just teleporting around everywhere.

Is this normal, or maybe just a problem for the parcicular server my chars were on?

Game looks pretty dead. Does anyone still play?

games majorly dead, even the private server scene is dead. the most popular ones will have like 15 people afk in market and 2 archers in BI 1 in AC and a water toa randomly in PC with a few afk trojans hitting stakes in TC square waiting for the next fb/ss event.

Best way Ive found to relive this game somewhat is to revamp it to fit a more singleplayer playstyle and turn it into a singleplayer game. even then, its not that good of a game haha, mostly only worth it if you wanted to do it for the fun of learning how.
