What is the difference between the two types of shadowbans?

Basically what the title says, I am curious what the difference between normal shadowbans and shadowbans that also lump in b06 campaign in the shadowban as well. I've been only using esp with aimex and only playing warzone casual the past few days and tonight I got booted from a warzone casual match after only killing a couple bots at the start of the match and the message said "account permanently banned" i also got an e-mail stating i was banned, but the weird thing is I can still log into the game and on my "appeal a ban" page on the activision site it lists me as having only limited matchmaking in warzone, b06, and bo6 campaign. So it seems that I am only what people call "bo6 campaign shadowbanned" even though i got the email stating i was permad. Curious what the difference between the two types of shadow bans are.

Regular shadowbans = too many reports from different players in an X ammount of time. 7 days to expire.

Campaign shadowbans = usually for boosting/bot lobbies BUT they hand them out too for aimbot abuse, random flagd, on newer accounts for unusual stats (they look at this as boosting) or if an cheat gets detected and they flag some users for whatever reason but dont permban them (yet). If people lucky then they wont get an perm. Many people at SS got campaign SB but no perms. Others got instant perms, same at Proofcore.
10-14 days to expire for Pubs / ranked play banned for the rest of the game cycle.

Permabans : simple full detection of an cheat and they are final nothing you can do. There are some manual permabans in T250 ranked. Manual perms are very minimal so mostly permabans are detections.

Don't want to hijack the post but are most of campaign shadow bans permanent? I got one back in December before ever using a chair for COD and still have limited matchmaking to this day despite quitting the game. Randomly updated to campaign one day after like a week of being shadowed and I've been cooked since

Yeah its permanent for the rest of the current game cycle. U can play regular Pubs tho after 10 days but ranked is permanent.

What about the next COD? Will we be able to play Ranked again there, or will we immediately be shadowbanned again

Oh interesting, so i'm just permanently banned from rank but its a normal shadowban otherwise and i can play again in 10 days? Curious why i got an email saying i was perma banned yet it seems i'm only shadow banned and can still log in, never heard of or seen something like this.

Extra question: I have never played MW3 multiplayer but my account has been getting MW3 shadow ban for over 3 months now. Why is this happening? Is there a solution? Will it always stay with me?

I got campaign shadowbanned without cheating, bot lobbies etc. How did that happen? I used to cheat on my old PC years ago. Now I played legit for 3 years on the same account, got kicked out of a Private Match with a friend and got shadowbanned.

A lot of people forget or dont know about the 4th type of ban which is auto ban or AI ban which is when the AI shadow bans you and not reports.

Whats the difference? The difference is that you will get a temp ban message and you will not be able to queue ranked play, whereas a normal shadowban from reports you get "disconnected from server" popup and can still queue ranked while SB.

If its like MW3 then it will only last until the new game comes out.
