Vac questions/help

Hello, didn't find a thread that was up to date so made my own.
I've always been interested in creating a CS2 cheat—not because I play the game a lot, but purely for the sake of learning. I have some experience with coding, but I've never developed my own software with a custom bypass.

Consider me a complete beginner; feel free to explain things in the simplest way possible. A friend has given me permission to use his source code to learn from, but its detected. no its not pasted, only he has the source code, its his old project.

My main question is:
Where do i start if i want to make his source code
undetected?
What are the best bypass methods to use?
How can I learn to bypass or reverse-engineer VAC etc?

Not experienced but you should check if the source is internal or external, internal would need more work while for external should be way more easier.
If your source is internal, I would say just get a external source from unkowncheats or github to start with.

You should prob ask on unkowncheats forum as it is more creating/coding based.

its external, I've asked on unknowscheats but haven't got much answers yet.

Cool to see someone learning this side of things for the sake of understanding, not just cheating for wins

If your goal is learning and you are starting from a detected base, your focus should be on understanding how detection works, VAC watches for patterns, signatures, and behavior. so start by studying how drivers and manual mapping work, and research common bypass strategies like DKOM, patchguard safe methods tricks.

Yup, unkowncheats is your best bet to learn as a beginner

You should watch videos, cazz is a great example. He helped me a lot, he explains it so smoothly.
