running dekaron server on win 7 O.o

has anyone tried to run a server on windows 7 ultimate or professional? theres a windows xp vitural drive download for it. ive gotten the server to start up just fine but only complication ive ran into is tryin to login to the server. its seems i cannot find the right ip configuration ive tried 127.0.0.1 tried my ip tried local machine ip. jus unable to figure it out. cant even access the website that ive put up along with the server. any ideas would be greatful

im not asking for a different way to use a virtual machine.... read it again if u dont understand the problem.. windows 7 comes with its own vitural machine program. im just lookin for anyone that has a idea as to why it wont connect to my own hosted webpage or the server. basically need someone thats good with networking to answer this question.

vmware aint the same if it was i woulda solved it myself

Look upper in Sticky Threads, there is a 1 Click Server from silkbotter, use it & learn to work with the Server (good way).

see thats a problem im having nothing on that vmware sticky has anythign to do with this vitural machine built in windows 7... i got a nat no bridge adapters n still cannot connect to my server

Use Vmware or SunVirtual Box , other way isnt exists.
Show the guides, use search button or install Windows XP.

btw, you have to put your VMware IP in your files not your Main PC IP or 127.0.0.1 (only for this PC / Vmware)
