See items inside container

Is there anyway to see items inside the containers before searching them or is that just dead forever?

It's now server-sided and won't be transmitted until the container has been searched.
Even if you used an exploit and auto-searched everything on the map, all you'd be doing is signing yourself up for the next ban wave; trivial to detect.

Sadly this won't be coming back as everything is server side. It works on PVE but thats about it. If an exploit gets figured out it'll be insanely risky to lose and will get you beamed most likely

As mentioned this isnt a thing anymore, its always sad to see features come and go.
