Erro LOADMSG

When I start my server, this error appears. Can anyone help me?

Your language settings are wrong and it cant read the db, press the start menu button and go to the search bar and type in Region and open that up, on the top there is 2 tabs click on administrative, at the bottom of this tab is Language for Non-Unicode Programs, change that to China (Simplified, Mainland China). This will fix that issue (:

Make sure this option is unchecked sometimes windows likes to check it!

I did exactly what you said and the error still persists!

Can you go to the msg server folder and go to the error logs and post them for me?


How to get to logs:

Go to the folders you put in the D drive and go to the ftp folder and then go to the 3rd folder it will have the cores for the MSG and NPC and ACC server in there and your going to go in to the MSG server folder, in there go to folder gmlog and syslog and i need the most current logs from there so i can see what the system is doing exactly, this helps from shooting in the dark! Thank you!

both folders are empty!

okie that's the problem, either your anti-virus deleted the files or they didn't get installed correctly, i would open the .rar file your server files came in and try to extract those folders there, this is the cause of the error, your data files for the account and msg server are stored there, without them its like having no brain lol.

If you still don't see the files your anti virus is deleting them because the server programs mark them selfs as trojan.

If you still cant figure it out and you have discord go to the website in my Signature and join our discord server and message me and i can go on your pc with team viewer and try to resolve the issue.

I tested putting LOADMSG_1 in compatibility mode with Windows 7, and now the error has stopped, however, it keeps trying to open MSGserver infinitely and nothing happens. Is it possible that you are getting the error because you are using Windows 11?

I discovered that the error was occurring because I was using Windows 11. I tested it on a virtual machine with Windows 10 and it apparently worked normally!
I'll still test the game to see if it will open without errors!

If your using the 1655 or 1654 db it should work with windows 10 or 11. Sounds like there is files still missing or not correctly edited.

This setup requires the msg and npc server started and loaded first before starting the account server, if you start the account server first it will cause problems. The account server i believe is from another version of these files or there is missing programs to run it correctly. i use this base for my server now i plan to release this base with a translated db (Not fully translated some odds and ends need done but its a great start base) and my client that's translated once i get fully swapped to the new 1.6.5.6 system. (I plan to release the 1.6.5.6 files soon once i fully understand them, still learning the client side, since you login before loading the game now its alot more harder getting it to connect, i have not got past local login)
