you wont get banned with a dma cheat if its read only as it isn't modifying the game, theres no detection vectors coming from the cheat. Also if one writes thats still okay if its done right, it can still be safe.
But the 2 main dma options are demoncore and bun
there isnt really much difference, its just personal preference between the users id say
