Normal low ping lobbies while shadowbanned!

I'm new to playing COD games. BO6 was my first COD, and I had around 130 hours using a cheat, but I didn’t get shadowbanned (SB).

I don’t know much about shadowbans since I’ve never experienced one before, but I’ve seen people say it puts you in high-ping lobbies filled with rage cheaters, etc.

Recently, I used cheats in MW3, and since my account is low level, I got shadowbanned, as shown here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...].

However, my lobbies are still low ping, and I’m playing against normal players who don’t seem to be cheating. I’m wondering why this is happening—shouldn’t shadowbans result in high-ping lobbies with other cheaters?

I’ve tried playing alone and with a friend on different servers, but it’s the same experience—no high-ping lobbies or cheaters.

If anyone has more information about shadowbans, please let me know.

MW3 shadowban is only a bug, you can play normal Lobbies.
If you would be shadowed it would take a while to find a match. If you get shadowed on BO6 you will see what i mean.

Intresting, I got bored with BO6 so might rage and test SB on BO6

SB seems different in BO6 than Warzone.

I raged aswell in BO6, on their website it's saying shadow banned, but I can find matches, although not as fast as not being shadow banned and it's full of rage autowall cheaters .

I dont play warzon
only BO6 multiplayer and now MW3 multiplayer
do it say on the website Shadowbanned or limited matchmaking?

Maybe it's a bug It happened to me in MW3 and MW2
I have never cheated in either game, but the game gave me shadowbans for no reason
however when I search for matches everything is normal no cheaters and no high ping lobbies

advice don't use any cheats while ure in shadowban just wait for it to expire

activision was trolling that day, almost every acc logged in pc hq was sb, now ur acc should be fine

When did you get shadow banned? Sometimes it gets lifted after 3-5 days

I think it has been more than 5 days it still say limited matchmaking but am not faceing any high ping or a lot of cheaters in both games

Had the same happening in the past. No ping issues / seemed like normal lobbies. On activision's site it told me I was sb tho. Played without cheats for 2 weeks then rechecked and it was gone :thinking:.

Weird, it must be a bug then. Try waiting for a few more days
