Undetected to date, keep in mind they are still a relatively new provider in the space.Quote:

They also use terms such as "Population controlled product." that they try to imply this adds a layer of security to their product, it doesn't. Offering a cheat to 10 people or 5000 people has no impact on possible detection events. This means if the cheat is going to get detected it will happen regardless of the size of the user base.
Pretty sure I read from a trusted an informed source in the past that client size is irrelevant to a cheats detection vector, a poorly coded cheat with 10 users or 500 users is still going to get detected, same as a quality coded cheat with 10 users or 500 users can still be detected.Quote:
We have been in the COD space for 13 months now with no detections on any COD product (we discontinued MW3 as numbers fell off but that was our first COD product)
I'm not implying anything, it 100% adds a layer of security from an anticheat standpoint.
I'm not saying it's the end all be all, but a product thats mass sold and resold to thousands of users is far more likely to be noticed and targeted for a detection from an anticheat team.
Case in point there have been several other providers pop up within the last year who did not even make it 3 months before being detected.
You may not agree with me, but saying it has no impact on possible detection events is incorrect and any honest developer would agree with that statement.
True, private cheats even with closed off communities still have a risk of a generic detection. This is why in the CS scene, even cheats with invite only registrations have still been hit eventually.Quote:

It is definitely a false sense of security, once again reiterating that I am not saying CS is a bad cheat, it seems to be once of the better choices out there publicly available, but personally limiting your slots to 500 and using that as a marketing ploy to come across as this reducing the risk of a banwave is a blatant lie. Your cheat can still be detected at any point, it doesn't reduce the risk of a potential ban by even 0.1% just means if you are detected you have potentially a max of 500 people getting banned and not 1000 or 2000 or whatever your user base is.Quote:

I think slot based would work in a way that it prevents the developers from wanting to target you and purchasing your cheat and sure that would work for a product with only 100 members. However, Synthetic has 500 slots total.. that's basically the size of many other small cheats, it's a false sense of security. Nothing is stopping Ricochet from wanting to buy their cheat and reverse it, will they? Probably not. But every time I've looked at Synthetic there has been multiple slots open and ready to purchase.
Its only a matter of time and the way you market your cheat also puts it on anti-cheat devs radar. Their marketing is definitely something Ricochet would want to target.
I'm sure their developer is talented though, they've dodged a lot of waves so far and I'm sure they'll be fine for the fore-see able future. I hope the Synthetic admins don't take my post as a way to trash their product because I'm not trying to do that at all, I just think 500 slots is more of a marketing tactic than anything else.
E.G your Tarkov product is perfect with 50 slots.
