Server unable to open/connect & also updater

problem 1) it's been several months since i touched my server. i was able to log into the game before i took a break. after the break, i turned on all services as i stopped them during the break. now that i'm back to editing it, it can't open and i started up all services. how do i get it back?

problem 2) when it was up months ago, the updater wasn't connected to the server so i wasn't able to update. how can i connect it to the game?

can some1 help me?

in your sql check linked servers, right click and check connection
make sure your config files in server folder are with the proper information (name and encrypted password) for your shaiya account in the sql
check if your services run, maybe they are stopped, for PS_XXX and SQL as well
check if all your files are where they should be, maybe they were blocked/quarantined or something by some protection

or just take one of the guides (I'd suggest the one from Haydees) and follow it along to either set it up again or to see what you're missing
