Move while casting exploit

when you start casting a spell, ffxi logs what pos you are at when you start the spell, and is stored client side, to avoid exess POL lag

my idea: could you somehow make a hack that had it so that watches your current position, and sets that as where you started casting, so that you could start a spell (like stoneskin) and run around, and the log where you started casting would be automaticly changed as you ran around, so that you could move while casting

1 way to verify my theory, is find a place on the ground where you can remember your exact position, then start casting a long spell, run around, and return to that point before the spell goes off, and it wont be interupted.

you could set that spot wit POS and then run away while casting, say freeze, then use POS tool and see if it lets you keep it

If you move with POS your spells dont get interupted anyway.

set point A .. set point B

idea is to jump from A and B

cast at point A .. jump to point B, (before the casting is finished, jump back to point A)

.. in other words, you HAVE TO finish casting where you started. if not, you will be interrupted.

i used to use this method alot on certain fights and only when i end up at point B, or I'm late in returning to point A, my casting gets interrupted. ..

fyi, you can have more than 2 points so you can actually 'jump' around like crazy ^________^

I've never been interupted with POS, but then again I'm RDM so it might be fast cast going off before it gets chance to move.

Not really a hack or an exploit but more of an observation. I found that when solo'ing shit on BLM that spells like xxx IV and -aga III's you can actually move before they are casted and it will land. I cast and run away from mob @ about 55%, you get alittle distance on the mob and spell fires, which spare you getting twonked! thus life or death, like i say, its not much BUT if you use flee tool and say use 25% or 50% and move at 55%ish you can get quite a distance away and still manage to get the spell off, it takes timing but its possible. Hope this helped.
