Yeah, these suggestions he makes are completely nonsense. I'm surprised the actual owner of MaxDps allows this guy to post half of this nonsense. It just makes MaxDPS looks silly when he starts posting all these crazy tips that literally have nothing to do with how Warden is detecting MaxDPS.

Warden doesn’t even work like that in WoW, and Windows Defender has absolutely nothing to do with exposing your “bot” to Blizzard. This just sounds like a desperate attempt to keep selling something that isn’t safe. Also, using Defender Control isn’t gonna save these guys. Sure, the concept was kinda cool for a provider, but none of what this guy makes sense lol.

I personally used and tested the software myself, and honestly, their security is pretty weak. I mean, who in their right mind names files something like Druid.exe or Warrior.exe? At the very least, they should be generating a random MD5 hash and changing the file size before handing the same .exe with the same version info to a bunch of users. This was only a matter of time before it backfired.

There used to be a good one back in 2019-2020 for classic. Used it to play fury warrior through mc and bwl before getting bored.

And another good one in shadowlands the year after. Got rdruid and rsham to +20 keys using just manual movement and a mix of the bot’s automatic rotations and hotkeyed pauses to input some manual casts of big cooldown abilities and pre-hots before big hits.

They might have been ScriptVirt or HandsFree. Really don’t remember the names. But no bans in 4 months of classic and 4 months of shadowlands in separate eras. Still have those accounts active now, but don’t play the game currently.

Sad to see the state of wow botting seems to have returned to guaranteed bans. A matter of when, not if you’ll get hit. Where have the good providers all gone?

That said. Prior era WowBuddy products were not the best. And glad the community no longer relies on big multi-product companies like that who do not put safety of users first. Maybe the reality was different for the developers. But cheating in 2004-2012 was almost always an expectation to be banned at some point.

The moderator there thinks people are idiots.

I used it for several months and got caught in the first ban wave.

I didn't try to use it again, but a friend used it and was banned within the first week.

At the moment we don't have anything accessible in terms of prices, we can only play by hand.

I used maxDPS, and it always seemed like a very basic product, nothing adjustable, everything very limited, which led me to believe that the security part was also precarious, but that the low popularity would have left it off blizzs radar for a while, so for the low cost it was worth the risk on a secondary account.

I really dont believe that going private is going to solve the problem with bans, and demanding id or even passports of people interested in continuing to use the product privately sounds completely absurd; it seems to me to be an attempt to suppress publicity about bans.

Asking for people's IDs does literally nothing. You can get fake IDs all day long online for next to nothing. We literally live in an era of AI fakery.

On top of that, if Blizzard really wanted to get ahold of your product, they could and would, but this won't slow them down or stop them. Asking for ID is just a way to give users a false sense of security.

Anyway, long story short, if you don't have the proper product security, it won't matter; taking people's identification and asking them to fill out a mortgage application won't save you or do anything for that matter from being detected by Warden, as they don't even know the exact reason why they got detected in the first place.

The first way to beat the system is knowing the system, and until they get someone who is an expert in Warden, it's not going to make a difference.
