Region Lock for CIS/RU accounts?

Yo guys, i know this question has been asked before but i keep getting mixed answers, people on epvp say they removed region locked which means you dont need to use a VPN to play on other regions while having a RU/CIS account, but all sellers on g2g say you need a vpn, so idk which one to believe, could anyone give me a clear answer? ty

You don't need a VPN to login and play on a CS account right now.
They probably say that for a disclaimer in case you do again in the future, or they just haven't bothered updating.

Do you know how to buy a CS account without going through G2A? It wouldn't let me pay and gave me a "temporary error".

I just buy them for 20 bucks off G2G.

vpn to CIS country and buy it from official site.

We always recommend using a VPN to connect to the BSG site and buy directly

It's not common but there have been issues in the past where people have lost their G2G account due to the selling issuing chargebacks to BSG

you can also try PA, I have bought a few there for test accounts

I don't know if this is common knowledge, but it appears eft arena still requires a vpn upon launch of the game, base game does not.

Can't you open the launcher with a VPN and then turn it off once you're in the game?
