Socket armor Drop Message?

Hi i was just corious, whether i would get any warnings if i try to drop a socket armor, a warning like for the mets.
did any1 try this out or know more abt it?

dont think it would, only counts for uni/elite and supers.
but again, never tried.

and +1s, most soc armors do have + on the or are at least uni. So the tradewindow close scam isn't gonna work if thats what you need this for =/

no , i m not trying to scam ppl, cuz i m just too kind to do this hehe,
no i was just wondering, becoz i never look when i drop my items, oso coz of C0partner, i dont know, maybe i ve dropped like 16804680 sox armors i just didnt know :D

there is like a 0,0000000000000001% chance your gonna find a soc from an normal mosterdrop anyway, so dont think you really have to worry about it.

Only monsters that drop socketed items to my knowledge are lab bosses (and I think you can get from moonboxes, but they dont "drop" the items, it has to be opened). So unless you have killed many lab bosses you haven't and the 0.0001 pct isn't true, its just not possible =)

normal lvl70 tro armour 1 sock, no warning message when droped by one of my friends. it also didn't had any gem

i think every mob may drop em, just very rare

i've been playing for more than a year, have many friends that played even for longer time and nobody heard of a sock armour(or anything besides weapons) drop at a normal monster

someone from my server had got normal soc ring off normal mobs of halloween city.. :rolleyes:

I knew a friend who claimed he found a socket attack ring from a ape in ape city... (I never saw it but he did sell it and did get rather rich overnight...) but anyways... either he bought a ton of db's that night (I SERIOUSLY doubt that) or he actualy did find it from a mob or that a player droped (like a redname maybe.. I dunno)

u dont get sockets from mobs... its only from special mobs i.e lab boss so on u know the rest

also mets and dbs can socket u dont find any sockets from monsters

some guy from statue of zeus found a uni socket war armor O.o at hawk cave
and to answer the question:
yes if u try to drop uni sock armor it will appear a warning cuz it has the unique
sockets dont have warning only +1, and unique and above

i ahve onle seen 1,\. boss monster in the lab. at lvl2 . got a uni ring. (wow :( .) any one done better?? :bandit:
