Getting the game running on Linux

Ive been looking around for a way to get the game running on linux, and have seen a few idea but havent found anything definitive or working, the most promising idea ive found is bypassing vanguard by using the mac os version of the game but the compatability tool for mac os apps is nowhere near ready to handle GUI programs let alone games.

Which leads me here, i would imagine if anyone knows ways to workaround vanguard it would be hacking forms like this.

Does anyone know of ways to get league working on linux, either with a spoofing tool, a working VM setup or cracked client or know of something that could be adapted to work on linux.

I dont understand this statement of yours, just do hackintosh dual boot windows + mac os. The experience is exactly the same as playing on windows, although you will be stuck with bgx as it is the only platform supporting mac os

He wants to run league on linux specifically, and he was talking about darling, i believe, which aims to achieve what wine does for windows. However darling is nowhere near ready as stated, and will not be an option for the foreseeable future.

There are still way to run league on linux, but I doubt you will find anybody sharing that information here.

My bad for the mistype, i meant ways. The concept of how you can run the game is basically the same as before, either in VM or native, except one is considerably more "difficult" than the other. If you really are motivated I encourage you to try things, eventually through persistence you will find a way, anything is possible on linux :)

Here's a starting point, if you havent found anything btw. Note that you'll need to do more if you want to run Vanguard games.
