Char not saving ?

Hi guys... So ... Im making my own server and have hit a problem... I cant get in to the game... I can get passed creating a char... But it seems as though its not saving it ... ie.. As soon as i try to log back in, I have to create a new one .. again.. from what I can see.. everythings coded right and the SQL is fine..
(Im running LOTF 5017)

If any one has any suggestions as to what the problem maybe, they would be gratefully recieved ... Thanks :)

Nothing is coded right in the 5017 source :)
Alot fixes are needed :P
try look in general.cs for the loading database.
Check if there is any lost connection with mysql.

Make sure you named the database correctly?

Try another databases. It will work, eventually.

I edited my signature to include the fact that I am Female after Pete Placed the comment... To be honest... It annoys me that some people on here automatically assume that Im a guy... But... This is all a bit off subject ...

Im still haveing the same problem... and I still cant seem to solve it.

i think the problem is his char name..

Do NOT use this signs, only use

A till Z
0 till 9

(first: create a NEW username, then try to name youre char: test (nothing more)
then log in)
