What kind of trade hack is this?

Today, we agreed to trade an item with another player. In the first village, I, a friend, and this player got together. I sent a trade request and put the money into the trade, but this player said he couldn't trade the item. He told me to give the money to my friend and for him and my friend to try trading. I gave the money to my friend through the trade, and in the meantime, the guy left the game. I realized that the guy was a scammer, but I didn't understand how we were scammed or whether we were scammed. At that time, my friend asked me to give him the money, but I had already given him the money through the trade and approved it. That's the story. Now, my guess is that something like this happened. While I sent a trade request to the other player and put the money into the trade, this player bugged the trade through a third-party software. Then I closed that trade screen, but this trade remained in the game's memory as if it was continuing. Later, when I made a trade with my friend and gave him the money, the money was transferred to that player, not my friend, as if I had approved the trade we made with the other player. Does anyone have information about this? How and with which program did he perform this trick?

I've never heard about this and I'm pretty sure this would be impossible.

Never heard of it, never seen it and never realized that someone can influence something like that. If you opened and accepted the trade with the 1st trading partner and he accepted it and you didn't realize it, the money is of course gone. I have no idea what is being said here, but there is no such thing as using third-party software.

I think you should reevaluate your "friendship". He is very bad at lying, after stealing from you.

Maybe this guy created a new character with a similar nickname like your friend. Then he opens exchange window with you, and you give him money, thinking it's your friend. For example your friend has the name Pomelo he can create a character with the nickname ponneo and you don't look so closely.
