If i buy a CIS account, can i play from Europe?

A friend of mine bought an EOD account on G2G, he has full access with email and everything. When he goes on the tarkov page it says that he has the "CIS/RU version" of the game, but he plays on Europe servers normally (without using vpn or anything else). When he talked to the vendor he said "you can play from europe aswell" and nothing else.
How does it work? I read everywhere that if you buy a CIS account then you have to play with VPN or stuff like that.
We can't figure out how this friend of mine is able to play without vpn or anything honestly

bsg disabled the restrictions a few months ago, they just need that tasty cheater account money

Around June I believe, dont know of an official statement but i doubt bsg would just admit to it

Anyways, that means that if i buy a CIS account on g2g i can play from europe normally without a vpn?

True, BUT inside source told me its more for statics. Easy TOS ban finding SUS CIS accounts and seeing them play in weird regions - EU/USA..so on.

They just ban, which is why I think we're seeing people saying. "I'm banned, but not cheating."

Wow, it's true! The region restrictions have been lifted. Previously, logging into a CIS account from China required a VPN, but I just tried it and I can log into my account without a VPN. I can't believe I didn't realize this earlier!

You can play on CIS accounts anywhere from Europe without VPN now yeah, if you want to play Arena you need a VPN though.

Tested, just bought a cis account and im playing from europe without vpn.
The thing is, is it risky ? Can i get banned?

Not risky, I sell CIS accounts and have many happy users. Nikitta wants to sell more ACCs again so he removed those restrictions :yes:

hey, did you buy with russian card or eu card. I cant pay with my eu card
(also im using ukraine vpn. should i use russian?
