DMA + WoW Bot, WHEN?

As title suggests,

Why hasn't anyone thought to make a bot that can work coincide with DMA hardware. Blizzard would have no chance of detecting other than manual ban?

Never going to happen, it's not scalable. The only use case it would be useful in would be rotations, and even then, it comes down to being scalable and most people having DMA cards and having 2 PC's. For farm botting it's useless, zero chance it would be scaleable.

If rotations came for it, that would be neat, NilName unlocker should do it for just rotations just for fun.

I'd have to disagree, it is scalable. It's been about a year since I WoW botted, but there were a large base of people solely interested in rotation bots. These same people were justifying purchasing hackintoshes or new Macbooks for the sole purpose of being able to cheat and not be detected. A Mac will far exceed the cost of a DMA setup.

On top of that, you wouldn't even need a fuser (though I'd still recommend it) unless you of course wanted the heads up warnings and draws that awful had for instance, but it's not required.

A DMA setup will run you under $500 at most. If a DMA cheat was put together that avoided bans like the glory days, I can see it becoming very scalable as you'd no longer need to buy new accounts every few months when detections hit and get memory (unlocker) performance.

That said, I'd be curious to see how someone would achieve this as you're not hooking onto the games functions itself and performance will take a huge hit. Finding a way to pattern scan reads where needed and such would be interesting.

Firstly, a DMA setup is nowhere near $500, you can literally run a headless setup by just getting the DMA card for like $90 on eBay. Secondly, those people that use MAC's are not farming on a large scale, most of them are 2-3 session andys. I can tell you 100% that it's not sustainable or scalable for farm botting, especially coming from the developer's side. I can promise you that DMA farming is not coming anytime soon, and likely never will, if you have any type of RE skills or any understanding scalable farms you would easily agree. It's just not a profitable venture for any developer.

Finally, DMA is not going to stop you from getting detected farming, most farming bans are heuristical or player-reported.

The only thing this would be useful for is rotation scripting.

I made zero mention of farming anywhere in my post. For complete context I said

What does this have to do with farming bots? I agree that it will not be sustainable for farming bots. With DMA you would be limited to a single instance too, as the card can't run PCILeech on multiple instances. So we are in agreement that it would be good for rotations, which I still agree would be worthwhile. Awful had tons of members using their bots solely for rotation purposes. Many of which now invested into Macbooks to continue their cheating. DMA is significantly cheaper than buying a Macbook, no?

Also, you should do some DMA research. I can 100% without a doubt tell you that you can get into DMA (and beyond budget) at $500. MavisDMA offers a 75T, latest Dichen fuser and KMBox net for $289. A miniPC is $200ish. That's $489 for a complete setup and a 75T which is your mid range card.

Then what exactly were you disagreeing with? I said it was not scalable for farming, its only use case is rotations, and now you're saying its scalable for rotations, even though I just clearly said that previously. It's like you wanted to create an argument out of being wrong after you realized how ridiculous you sounded.

I even made my own firmware.....Did you not read what I wrote, or are you a little slow? I said you don't need all of that junk, for $90 you can head on over to eBay pickup a Stark 75t or Captian75t which is the same Mavis sells for half the price with less the hassle (hell you can get a full setup on eBay for like $200, dma, fuser and KMbox same nonsense mavis sells). Then you can head on over and buy some firmware for $125 with most providers that will be good for most major AC's

No fuser needed, no KMbox is needed for WoW, you can literally just use Moonlight/Sunshine or Parsec and call it a day, those steaming platforms will bever be banned way to many legit players use that.

So no, its not going to cost you anywhere near $500 to get a dma setup, only if you shop with overpriced resellers.

i made that in 2015, 0 bans. But not Public aviable. So no they cant defect DMA.

Its ez to make, if you wanna Cheat do it yourself.

Wouldn't it be possible to use a DMA card as a (relatively) easy way to patch wow to unlock Lua, skip taint checks, disable debug checks, etc?... Not the typical DMA setup, but this is what I've been thinking about for a while. Agree that no fuser or kmbox are needed..

(edit: I'm rethinking the value of this... now that I have my own internal injection and can write to memory.)

With blizzard saying that they are going to be removing access to the combat log in the future, pixel bots have basically been given a death sentence. Just not sure when. DMA might be the only solution for a moderately safe rotation bot in a year.

well, tbh why not just go for hypervisor? or even kernel should be enough to stay undetected. since warden is an usermode anticheat.

I mean yeah. all ow read only externals that i know of have never been detected. only mem write features

Not really, Unlockers will be BIS next to internal and externals. DMA might only be relevant for rotations, especially for those developers who can't properly hide their applications.

U dont need this, coz u can play safe with auto-rotation bot, what use ONLY allowed ingame functions (i have this one)
