DMA Question #2

do i need a UD cheat to be UD on DMA? if so i dont get the point

Not really, its the firmware that matters. If the cheat writes to memory it might be detected, but in terms of your standard kmbox + dma setup, I don't think there is any writing, so all you really have to worry about is your firmware.

dma cheats dont write memory so they are not detected, its the dma card/firmware that can get detected

Need a proper DMA cheese to run with DMA card, can't inject any internal with DMA unfortunately.

So i can use a detected DMA cheat but with a good card and firmware and be UD?

They are able to write memory but tend not to for obvious reasons.

To answer the posters question no it doesn't matter, the only thing that you really need to be worried about is getting good firmware, in which there are many sources.

(Even some to make your own)

No, if a DMA cheat is detected, and the only reason I can really think of that happening, is because they write to the game, you'll still get banned.

Read only DMA cheats can't get detected, only your firmware/hardware can.
