Speaking money - What you'd need, roughly?

How much, to be honest, I'm not sure.
We need a 3d artist to bring the game to life, we could use asset packs but then we risk being called an 'asset flip' and most likely we wouldn't be able to find the full array of assets that work together and make sense. We do have a style in mind a sort of cross between Fortnite and Borderlands, this enables us to keep spec requirements low while giving the game a modern look and not over-cluttered.
Probs a few thousand maybe to get a good job done.
Then, We also need someone to focus on networking, while UE5 support multiplayer of the box we currently have it set up and got it working like a coop/hosted game for easy testing, I have also built a dedicated server from UE source code and had 2 servers running and players can move between both without issue but this solution needs a custom front end built to spin servers up and down on demand which UE doesn't natively support. This then all needs to be tied together with a database.
Networking is not only hard but it's a specialisation that normally costs a shit ton, I've learnt a lot but I'm far from an expert and just have gotten the basics down. I couldn't keep learning but I have many other things to learn and work on too.
I don't require money, I'm not trying to make a quick buck from the game or milk this community, We are making our vision of AO much like Ashes Of Creation is making their vision of Archage Online. We want to remove/rework features added purely for P2W and modernise other parts of the game while keeping the battle system the same. We will keep working on the project while trying our best to fund it and find support without selling our souls or making ANY part of the game P2W.
Our AO vision is PAY 2 SKIN not PAY 2 WIN!
This project/vision is huge, but it is a dream I intend to try my best and complete!
