DirectX 9.0b problem in SJSRO =\

when i try to start sjsro old\new i get this error that i dont have the directX O_O i use windows xp service pack 3 and 100% that i have the directx what do i do now? O_O

change the compatibility and try run as admin..

did it but i cant run as xp servise pack 3 i dont have that option dont know why O_O i have only run as windows 98\95\2000 and some other thing O_O why is that? maybe cuz of service pack 3? O_O

reinstall the direct x versions

any more ideas? ^^ hehe maybe the fact that i got 2 silkroads on my comp got anything to do with it? or am i just stupid asking that? ^^ hehe i got the global and this one (in diffrent folders ^^) well hope somone can help me =]

you changed the compatability of your launcher? oO

rightclick the launcher and change the compatability to windows 2000, push ok and open the launcher .......

if you did that, its impossible for you to play xD cuz it worked for everyone except for you :D

can you put up the launcher you use? or maybe if you have a multi client\no dc? that helped me once

Download and Install DirectX 9.0C which is the latest and last version of DirectX. You may have DirectX 9 but chances are you don't have 9.0b or c.

Edit:excecly what i had ^^ hehe even same download ^^ any more ideas? maybe my pk2 is bad? i downloaded a pk2 that takes 500mb+ but zooyorks pk2 package takes about 300mb+ maybe its that? O_O

Maybe, or it could be your video card. Older cards don't have dx9 support. If you have a new card or a card that supports dx9 then I don't know.

i use nVidia geforce 8600 GT 1gb i think its ok :) cuz global sro works fine :)

try the files in my attachement

(copy and replace in your sjsro folder)
