DMA 4Kfuser help

I’ve preordered the captain 4K Fuser. My question is
I have my main pc which outputs 1440p/244hz and want to continue to play on that spec after setting up DMA/fuser .
And my second pc will be a cheap mini pc that outputs at most 1080p/244hz. will that be a issue as I want the esp to be the same refresh rate hz and smooth

Yep the 2nd PC will need to output the desired resolution you play on the main monitor, good way to test is cable straight from 2nd pc to ur og monitor rn.

So I decided to buy the second pc last as I was hoping I could save some money on that. But if I’m required to spend a bit more to achieve 1440/244hz I guess I’ll have to. but I keep reading in different dma groups where some people say your second pc needs to only be able to output the 244hz. . And the resolution doesn’t have to match the 1440 on main pc That’s a what’s confusing me

Correct.

Resolution doesn't need to match, only the refresh rate.

When a fuser is added into a setup it's appearing as a monitor on both machines, for proper fusion the 2nd Pc will have to provide that RES and HZ. If you feed it 1080p @ 244hz and plan to play at 1440 it may not even fuse or the ESP will be misaligned. (Captains new fusers are still prob 1+ month out)
