DMA Firmware Banwave

I’m trying to see how many people have been client banned on apex since the anticheat update that accompanied S21. In the spheres I am in I have seen SEVERAL people banned in the client (no EA ban) if they had a DMA card installed in their system.

If you were similarly banned, annotate firmware provider. Thx

seems like these 1:1 private dma firmwares are not that 1:1

i had clutches "custom private" and got hit. Been playing legit the last month after coming back after 6 months of not playing. Got banned just for having the dma in my pcie slot. totally forgot it was even there till i got banned after the update. Lost a 14x pred account with 90k kills. Kinda sucks i got fucked just for having it in my pc

I always suggest to buy an DMA with an Killswitch so it shuts down completly.

Nah man I've been using a dma before it became the go to way to use cheats. I've had it about 4-5 years. Back then it was such a small community you didn't need stuff like that

im still fine with clutch firmware. Got hit at the last cfw ban wave months ago. It was maybe a false ban, can't know but they unbanned my acc for no reason so :D

hes pointing out your firmware clearly isnt "emu", otherwise you wouldnt have got hit in that wave, as that wave was for illegal config spaces

When buying firmware i suggest looking for something which has a 1:1 configuration space and manufacturer driver support with fully legal config space, as this will look like a real device, essentially "emulating" it. You can test the legitimacy of the config space with ekknods tool
