Ban Evasion [GUIDE]

So you want to know how to evade a ban on server/hwid huh? You are in the right place as I am an experienced rust cheater but I am always okay with advice so if you feel like I got something wrong or I am missing something feel free to comment :)

1: It is as simple as getting a new account and changing your HWID with a good spoofer (personally I use a Perm spoofer) but you can find good spoofers on EPvP

1: Dont keep using the same ip on new accounts, it wont work, you need to either buy a RESIDENTIAL VPN such as Mysterium or ResiVPN OR you can do the best option and change your real DYNAMIC ip through going to your router page and changing your routers MAC address to trick your isp into giving you a new IP as then you dont have to worry about vpn headaches.
1: Now logout of your banned account and you NEED to clear rust traces/old steam account traces on you're PC (dont ever login to the old steam thats banned unless you clear registry/steamlogs afterwards), I dont care what anyone says, THEY LEAVE TRACES. You can do this the easy way by Revo Uninstalling Rust AND Steam or you can do another way to where you dont have to uninstall Rust and Steam.

(IMPORTANT IF YOU ARENT REVO UNINSTALLING)
1: Now you need a new account, so just go to G2G and find an account with 100+ REAL HOURS (do not get no 1000 botted hour account as it provides no extra protection against you getting banned by a server admin, THEY CAN TELL) Once you get the account login, change some things around make the account look valued, change your profile pic, make a super basic bio, maybe hide a few things but I wouldnt just private the entire account like most cheeters do, and dont use similar names/pfps as your banned account.

So now you have
-Changed HWID (if your gamebanned)
-Changed IP
-Cleared Traces
-Got a nice new account
you can boot up rust now and join the server(s) you were banned on!

Try it on rusty moose/rusticated and let me know how it goes for you, by experience I’ve used New IP, very high legit hour accounts, and you will still get a ban, of course the admins will keep it hush hush but you will see they KNOW you have other steam accounts, I have noticed you can get away with it on small servers with shit plugins tho. I know of people who take it as far as creating windows backups so unless it’s something I’m missing I believe 100% they use your steam data files and possibly registry, but hey, always best to be safe than sorry?

They all suck, and I wouldn't advise using any of them. Get a dynamic IP from your ISP or switch ISPs if you have to. The VPNs aren't bad themselves, it's just that all their ranges are burned for Rust. Your only shot with residential VPNs is to buy an entire range the second it becomes available, so others can't burn it.

Traces are a complete myth please stop spreading this bullshit its amazing people still buy that crap.
As for getting a new IP by your ISP, most ISPs dont come with firmware that would support anything like changing your MAC and alot of the time especially if youre on cable youre already behind NAT so changing mac on your router wouldnt achieve anything.
The most foolproof method for getting a new IP from your ISP is either unplugging your router for 24 hours so first the default 20min lease runs out and then the 24h reservation against the mac, atleast this is common in europe im not sure about the states.
You can also simply rotate between 2 routers when you want a new IP, both of these methods assume youre directly hooked up with a public IP on your router and that youre not behind NAT.

Hmm, of course I cannot say 100% there are traces but from my personal experience clearing steam userdata, etc fixed the random server bans I was getting, I have been banned probably over 200 times now due to when I used to rage, but either way I would much rather be safe then get a random ban after changing ip, etc.

This wasn’t a guide made out of facts, it’s just what I do and I don’t ever get bans anymore, 18 wipes in a row on my current account no server bans :)


For the IP, everyone should definitely just buy their own equipment and try and get ur ip changed through your isp, either by changing Mac or other ways, in my experience I had to buy my own router/modem to change Mac because my isp was aids and locked it. Most residential vpns aren’t even reliable anymore, especially ResiVPN ;), only option is MysteriumDARK but even that is pretty shitty sometimes.

Resi and Myst have the exact same detection issues only difference is that Myst also recirculates IPs so you could get one thats already banned or later be banned by someone else.
If you cared to read what I wrote I also explained what you suggested more or less.
For the average person id say try a residential VPN, if you have issues or want to play on servers that crack down on these then use a mobile hotspot.

I mean what can I tell my ISP to get them to change it?

If I knew how Static IPs worked I don't mind paying for *whatever*.

I have fiber not cable, I'm not sure if that matters.
