DMA Fuser + Monitor Refresh Rate Compatibility Issues

I am currently getting my head around the usage of a DMA board.

I currently have monitors that support 144Hz through DP. Through HDMI they only support 120Hz. All the Fusers I can find utilise HDMI but at 144hz.

Will I run into issues using a fuser set at 144Hz and monitors that are capped at 120Hz?

My cheat laptop is capped at 60Hrz while main pc runs at 144hrz and it's pretty smooth.

I wouldn't be worried about it.

On some other posts on this forum I have read that you need to set your fuser to the same refresh rate as your monitor using the remote. This won’t be possible for me so I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and try it.

If you get a dichen fuser those support a wide range of resolutions and specific HZ settings too, I know the captain ones may have issues with that.

no. but you’ll want to go w the captain fuser because it supports DP as its output for that 144hz.
