Conquer online 2 on Linux

I've been searching for a way to play CO2 on my linux HP labtop, I currently got a desktop as well but its pretty shitty, well its a good machine but its old. I recently got this labtop for my 360, but its got linux Ubuntu 9.4 on it. I'm not a complete n00b when it comes to computers. I was just wondering if anyone HERE has had success with playing CO2 on linux?!

1.try it with wine.
2.if that doesnt work, try with some virtualization software(vmware for linux)

i generally do not recommend last option unless you have a good pc.
since that will make your pc slow down like hell.
4gb ram
1.4 ghz dual core
mid range radeon/geforce

else you wont have a good fps

if the first link dont get you with a working game, try the second

Last time I played CO on linux using wine,the curor dident show up,but the game played fine

yeah indeed, thats what i read in one of those links i provided. not sure why, but is it maybe because of the cursor changing and stuff? what if you remove the cursor file/change it with a static one. may or may not work this way

It loads on WINE, but when its gets to the screen where you log in theres nothing like blank no servers or anything
