You didn't show any proof of VT-d preventing DMA. If you want proof, you can contact other DMA users and FW developers who will provide you with proof. I won't create a video of showing BIOS and Windows settings with DMA reads for your amusement.
Then only thing that you shared is some text from some documentation. On paper, vt-d is supposed to prevent DMA but as I said, certain FW or mobos will ignore it.
Yes even faceit/vgk is having trouble with DMA. The only thing you want to achieve with your post is to prevent DMA's success. I pity the people who buy stuff from you as you are misleading them and getting them banned.

Okay, look at the picture below. Not that difficult to comprehend. When you understand that picture, that a 4th grader can understand, then please go ahead and convince me that multi billion dollar companies have implemented technology that is probably used at the NSA and it doesn't work :lul:
Honestly at this point, it is more likely you are the shiller then me
Again, if you are manipulating firmware on your mobo or fucking with the integrity of any of this. You are most likely opening up for at least a couple of detection vectors. Are you now expecting everyone to risk bricking their mobo with some sketchy as patched firmware to run dma
Btw I am not a expert on this topic, for anyone wondering. I looked into DMA and this is what stopped me from making products for it. But I can promise you, I am way more qualified then this dude that is not proving anything or showing anything to prove his claims
